The timeline of Link-Lives and the major milestones.
The Link-Lives project is funded to run from March 2019 to August 2024, featuring a number of major milestones:
March 2019: Link-Lives: Historical Big Data commences
October 2019: The website is launched
June 2022: A searchable webpage beta version is launched, featuring 64 million person appearances from censuses, parish records and burial registers and a smaller amount of life-course frames 1787 to 1901
2023: The transcription of the 1921 and 1940 censuses is completed
2023-2024: Life-courses for period 1901 to 1968 are created in a safe research environment following data protection laws
August 2024: The existing Link-Lives funding ends, but the life-course frames and the website continue to be maintained
