Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research

Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research (CPR) contributes to Link-Lives with expertise in machine learning.

CPR was established in 2007 at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, to promote basic and applied discovery research on human proteins of medical relevance. The Center contributes to the progress of translational research within medicine and provides fundamental insights, which can be used to promote drug discovery and development. The establishment of the center was made possible by a generous donation of 600 million DKK from the Novo Nordisk Foundation as well as through contributions from the University of Copenhagen. At the beginning of 2015, the Novo Nordisk Foundation donated additional 180 million DKK to CPR.

The Saxo Institute

The Saxo Institute contributes to Link-Lives with research expertise in Danish history in the 18th to 20th century. ‘

The Saxo Institute at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Copenhagen, includes study and research activities within the subject areas of Prehistoric Archaeology, Classical Archaeology, Ethnology, Greek & Latin and History.

The Danish National Archives

The Danish National Archives contributes to Link-Lives with expertise in digitized sources and research in Danish social and health history in the 18th-19th century. 

The aim of the Danish National Archives is to store and collect original documents of historical value and make them available to the public. The Danish National Archives’ collection consists of documents in words and images about Danish history, the development of the Danish democracy and jurisdiction, great events and characters of historical significance, like the kings and queens, but also documents about the lives of common Danes.

Copenhagen City Archives

Copenhagen City Archives contributes to Link-Lives with expertise in crowdsourcing. 

Copenhagen City Archives is the local archive for the municipality of Copenhagen. Copenhagen City Archives collect and store archival material about Copenhagen and make them available to the public. Copenhagen City Archives has a vast collection of sources about the history of Copenhagen that is accessible either at their reading room or online through their webpage. Copenhagen City Archives has always been closely connected to the local government of Copenhagen and the City Hall.
